If you are established professionally and looking to advance or if you are ready to make a vocational change or are just getting started in your post-service career, a UB degree can help you take those next steps.
From day one, all first-year students are paired with an academic advisor to help them build their first semester around a learning community with three classes and a group of 20 students. Upper-class students serve as peer mentors, and classes are taught by excellent faculty, including the president and provost.
The Academic Advising Center天天色综合,天天干影视 reaches out to students to ensure a smooth transition to college and sets them on a path to graduate on time. Students benefit from strong faculty–student collaboration in which they receive guidance on majors, minors, and general core courses.
The Student Support Services天天色综合,天天干影视 Program (SSS), funded by the Federal TRIO Programs, is designed to identify and provide services to a selective group of college students who meet eligibility criteria. All of our services are available at no cost with the intent of assisting students in accomplishing their goal of graduating from UB.
The Tutoring & Learning Center天天色综合,天天干影视 offers professional and peer tutors in individual or group settings and can provide assistance for writing, study skills, subject-specific tutoring, and more. The Center is available to all undergraduate UB students looking for assistance with courses and supports classroom instruction by providing valuable resources.

It can also be highly stressful since social and emotional concerns can interfere with effective functioning and academic performance. Counseling Services staff and interns are sensitive and responsive to the needs of a highly diverse student population.

Counseling Services provides a safe, confidential, and supportive environment where students can get the help they need to be successful in college and life.
The University of Bridgeport Student Health Services offers high quality, student health care for the treatment of acute illnesses and injuries. Serious medical problems are referred to the local hospital emergency room. A medical director, nurse practitioners, and nurses staff the center.
Health Services’ emphasis is geared towards wellness. We offer health education, preventive health screenings, health promotion programs and immunizations. Students’ individual needs are attended to in a confidential and caring manner. All information and records pertaining to any aspect of a student’s health are strictly confidential.
